The Storm..

A candle flickers,

The scared girl shivers,

The air grows colder,

The blanket falls from her shoulders,

The darkened shadows start to creep,

As the howling wind starts to shriek,

The trees sway,

The leaves lay,

Keep the curtains closed they say,

The lightning strikes,

The scared girl cries,

The teddy bear looks to shout goodbye.
