The Rising Water..

Feels like I'm drowing,
The water level is high,
It nobody helps me soon,
I am scared that I might die,
The waves they crash,
Like the thoughts rippling through my head,
I struggle to swim,
My legs are like lead,
No lifeboats are coming,
No one to rescue me,
If no one comes soon,
I will belong to the sea,
The mermaids are taunting,
And being so cruel,
I should never have left shore,
I feel such a fool,
So as water fills my lungs,
And my breath starts to falter,
I struggle to see the light,
Dance over the rising water..
