Room 262..
Room 262,
It’s not shiny and new,
A trouser press,
A place to dress,
With antique desk,
And views a few,
A place to sit,
When there’s nothing to do,
Sliding beds,
To lay your heads,
A nice deep bath,
That made us laugh,
A brand new TV,
So easy to see,
An old fashioned radio,
Fun for you and for me,
A secluded corridor,
We laughed even more,
We stayed awake all night,
No sleep until four,
Bumps in the night,
Gave us such a fright,
Rollercoaster dream,
Quick turn on the light,
Tripping over in the dark,
There’s no doubt we made our mark,
We had such fun,
They’re glad we could come,
Memories made, more than a few,
That is our room, room 262..
